Bike Trailer

Available in a 12 or 16 bike version, the Bike Trailer was designed to transport large quantities of bicycles in a single trip, and is a popular choice with national parks and university campuses alike. The Trailer’s unique quick load system secures the front and rear bicycle tires in seconds, and allows bikes to be independently loaded and unloaded from any position.

This D.O.T. compliant bike trailer is a durable, high quality design with fully operational running gear and minimal size to allow for excellent maneuverability. The Trailers rear bicycle wheel spring hoop and unique No Scratch™ support arm provide an intuitive, quick and secure loading system that ensures protection for the bike and easy one hand operation for the user.

Specifications

  • 12-bike trailer measures 186“ long by 76“ wide without bikes
  • 16-bike trailer measures 234” by 76” wide without bikes
  • Low load height of approximately 28“ allows for passengers of all sizes to load and unload their bike unassisted
  • Gross vehicle weight rating of 2,000 lbs and are equipped with wheeled tongue jack rated to 800 lbs
  • Independent suspension axle with EZ-lube spindles and low profile fenders do not interfere with loading and unloading of bikes around axle region
  • Washington State and Federal D.O.T. compliant (consult your state D.O.T. for local requirements)
  • Lighting system includes “Flat 4” connector, brake lights, tail lights, license plate lights and reflectors attached to the sides and rear for increased visibility
  • Heavy-duty structural steel frame includes 4-stage Zinc Clad II primer, re-coatable epoxy, Acrolon polyurethane, and powdercoat finish to provide enhanced durability and corrosion resistance
  • All fasteners and exposed rack parts are made of stainless steel or plated with high grade yellow zinc-dichromate
