The Sportworks SpinLock interior bike rack (patent pending) was designed for use both inside transit buses and inside railcars. This unique design can be installed at multiple heights and angles to accommodate virtually any vehicle floor plan. Although other racks have been built with an upper wheel roller to aid bicycle retention, the SpinLock is the first implementation with a ratcheting one-way roller. The ratcheting roller provides unparalleled bicycle retention along with ease of loading.
The rack is compatible with most bicycle wheel and tire sizes and fender-compatibile. A gas shock biases the arm against the front tire providing consistent bicycle retention. The SpinLock interior bike rack is available with mounting pedestals that allow the installation of adjacent racks at staggered heights, and to eliminate handlebar interference when racks are closely spaced.
